About Ahlu Sunna

Ahlu Sunna is a mobile-first Islamic companion built to bring authentic knowledge of the Quran and Sunnah to Muslims around the world, completely free of charge. Our mission is to make the primary sources of the religion — the Book of Allah and the authenticated traditions of His Messenger ﷺ — accessible to every seeker, regardless of language, location, or income.

The app brings together the full Quran in Arabic with English translation, the six canonical hadith collections with scholarly authenticity gradings (Sahih, Hasan, and Da'if) on every narration, a library of authentic daily duas with transliteration and sources, and accurate prayer times with athan alarms tailored to your zone. For those new to the faith, a step-by-step learning guide covers wudu and salah, alongside curated beginner books on Tawheed, Seerah, and hadith. Premium members can also practice and perfect their Quran recitation with AI-assisted feedback and Tajweed guidance.

Ahlu Sunna is built for the global Muslim community — from lifelong students of knowledge to those taking their first steps in Islam. It follows the creed and methodology of Ahlu Sunna wal Jama'ah, presenting only authentic, source-referenced content with no innovation or opinion. Every verse, hadith, and dua is drawn from verified, classical sources.
